FeedsAnywhere FAQs
You'll find some Frequently Asked Questions below. If you don't find your question please contact us.
A: FeedsAnywhere presents feeds as a single stream of articles with minimal user interface clutter so the focus is on reading. Google Reader is designed primarily for large screens and doesn't provide a consistent interface for mobile devices.
Our FeedScore technology scans every article in your feeds to determine what is likely to be the most interesting to you. PostRank only tells you which feed items are most popular among all readers and is not personalized to match your preferences.
FeedsAnywhere can be used by any device with a web browser. My6Sense is an app and is limited to supported platforms.
A: Feeling buried by a mountain of unread feeds? FeedScore is our innovative way of digging through and choosing the most interesting stories, and it's all tailored to your individual tastes. When you save a story or click through to a website FeedScore learns a little bit about what you are interested in. It then takes that data and makes an educated choice about what else you'll want to read. If FeedScore picks something you don't like click the thumbs down icon and next time it will know better.
A: It can help, but information overload is not a completely technical problem and thus cannot be solved by technical means. FeedScore can help reduce the amount of time spent looking through feeds by showing you only those that are most likely to interest you.
A: The simple answer is FeedScore works like a Bayesian filter that is found in some anti-spam programs. Training is accomplished via a mixture of implicit and explicit commands. When entries are clicked or saved FeedScore assumes this implicit action signifies interest in the article. This saves the user from needing to manually train most articles. If an un-interesting article shows up in your interesting view click the thumbs down icon to tell FeedScore not to show you these types of articles in the future.
A: Go to the select a feed page and click on the feed you wish to unsubscribe from. In the menu at the bottom of the page you'll find an unsubscribe link.
